Let’s soar together! Help me raise funds to keep the Flying Doctor flying.
During the uni-break, I will be riding my motorbike through 3500km of regional and remote country across 4 different states (+1 territory); with the goal to raise awareness of the RFDS's vital contribution to healthcare across Australia and help raise funds to keep their life-saving service airborne.
THE TRIP: At an estimated at 3500km, this journey will take me through a fraction of the vast area that the RFDS covers, including Melbourne, the Snowy mountains, Canberra, Sydney, Dubbo, Broken hill and Adelaide. My travel companion is a 1999 Yamaha TRX850 - otherwise known as 'T-Rex'. We will aim to complete this over 23 days, leaving Hobart on the 16th of June, and returning on the 8th.
